Guest Experience & Event Operations | Part-Time, Non-Exempt (Hourly)

The LineUp at Wai Kai is seeking friendly, organized, and service-driven Guest Experience Representatives to support guest interactions across our premier waterfront destination. As one of the first points of contact for our guests, this role plays a key part in shaping memorable experiences — from the moment guests inquire or arrive, through check-in, activities, and events.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm in a fast-moving environment, and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, polished service in a guest-focused setting.

Guest Services & Engagement
Serve as a front-line representative by greeting guests and assisting with memberships, passes, and reservations
Act as an in-person check-in representative for activities, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately
Provide clear, friendly information about activities, pricing, hours, amenities, and events
Support Stoke Monitor shifts by welcoming guests, providing directions, monitoring assigned areas, and creating a positive onsite presence
Inquiries & Communication
Answer phone calls and respond to in-person guest inquiries related to bookings, services, and general information
Assist guests with navigating availability, policies, and options, offering guidance and recommendations when appropriate
Support call center operations by completing bookings and managing guest profiles
Operational & Event Support
Process transactions and payments accurately using the POS system
Maintain accurate guest records, including waivers, contact details, and booking information
Provide onsite support for events, including guest assistance, setup, and breakdown as needed
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to address concerns and escalate issues appropriately
Cleanliness, Organization & Teamwork
Ensure workstations, kiosks, POS areas, and tablets are clean, organized, charged, and fully operational
Work collaboratively with other departments to support smooth daily operations
Share guest feedback and operational observations with supervisors and the Guest Experience Manager
Strong customer service mindset with patience, professionalism, and enthusiasm
Clear verbal communication and active listening skills
Ability to problem-solve calmly and efficiently in guest-facing situations
Willingness to collaborate across teams and adapt to changing needs
Organized, dependable, and attentive to detail
Interest in water-based or outdoor activities is a plus, but not required
No prior experience required — training will be provided
Customer service experience is helpful but not necessary
Ideal for individuals seeking their first job or building early career skills
Fluency in oral and written English
Open availability required, including at least one weekday, one weekend day, holidays, and special events
Combination of desk-based and active work, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
Light physical work, with the ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
